Induction Heater for Rivet Heating
The hot rivet delivers the toughest joints and are durable joints primarily used for fastening sheets and shaped rolled metal. At a principal place near the areas being riveted, a heater was set up. Rivets were placed in the heater and heated to glowing hot (frequently to white hot) so that they were more flexible and simply deformed.
Rivet Heating uses heat and force to form rivets or part tenons. Like electro-forging, the heated substance becomes flexible and falls under pressure applied by the power head. This method makes it possible to form a round fastener into a square hole, producing a high-torque joint. The Induction Heater for Rivet Heating allows repeatable and fixed heat cycles, exact heating (only the head of the rivet is brought to temperature) and amplified production competence. Furthermore, induction heating is flameless, which improves the workshop safety considerably at the same time.
