Induction Hardening Heater for Brake Pads

Brake pads are the detachable surfaces that callipers use to make contact with the rotors during this procedure. Brake pads are a section of disc brakes used in locomotive and other applications mainly composed of steel backing plates with resistance material bound to the surface that faces the disc brake rotors. When you hit the brake pedal, the callipers start to close, clasping the rotors from both sides. This process produces friction that causes the wheels to rotate more gradually until they come to a complete stop.
