Induction Hardening Heater for Axle Shafts
Axle shaft is a shaft of a dynamic axle of a self-propelled wheeled vehicle that transfers rotation from the differential gear to a driving wheel. Axle shafts are mainly responsible for transmitting the transmission’s rotating force and power to make the vehicle move. When the force from the transmission causes the axle shaft to revolve, the wheels attached to it also turn. Induction hardening heaters increases the hardness near the surface of the shaft, where it is required most, and leaves the surface in density, which increases fatigue life. Induction Hardening gives high surface hardness with a deep case capable of handling enormously high loads. Fatigue strength is also increased by the creation of a soft core surrounded by a tremendously tough outer layer. These properties are needed for components that are subject to torsional loading and surfaces that experience impact forces.
